Job Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on and responsible Building Technician cum Property Executive to support the daily operations, maintenance, and management of our commercial/industrial property. You will handle both technical tasks and basic administrative work to ensure the property is well-maintained, safe, and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of building systems (e.g. electrical, plumbing, aircon, fire safety, lifts, etc.)
- Respond to and follow up on tenants feedback, faults, and repair requests
- Supervise and coordinate work done by contractors, cleaners, and security personnel
- Monitor building facilities and equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Assist in managing service contracts and maintenance schedules
- Help with property-related administrative duties (e.g. reports, checklists, tenant records)
- Ensure compliance with safety, building, and regulatory standards
- Support the Property Manager in day-to-day building operations
Requirements:
- NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Building Services, Facilities Management, or related field
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in building maintenance or property management (commercial/industrial preferred)
- Basic knowledge of M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) systems and building operations
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to do hands-on technical work when needed
