BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ENGINEER

Job Description & Requirements

Requirements:

.Responsible for assisting Project Manager, manager to plan, manage and ensure smooth implementation and monitor of projects assigned from inception to completion on time and of desired quality

.Responsible for assisting to manage and monitor site operation, workers and contractors

.Responsible for effective site administration which include site safety and control of materials and machinery on site

. Solving complex problems

. Creating models, blueprints and prototypes using CAD/CAM software

. Managing engineering projects, including construction and system upgrades

. Monitoring compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications

Interacting daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and representing them in the field

. Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

. Bachelor Degree

. Posses minimum 15 years of relevant work experience

. Good interpersonal and communication skills

. Sound knowledge of construction safety regulations

. Working knowledge of construction tools, machinery and equipment

. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems

.Organizational and Troubleshooting Skills

. Can work well in a team

. Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others

. Can multitask, must help to do general work if required

. Ability to focus and keep calm under pressure

. Ability to keep track of multiple projects
