Job Summary
Manage and lead day-to-day production operations for a modular furniture line, ensuring timely delivery, quality control, safety compliance, and continuous process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce costs.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily production operations to meet modular furniture line targets and deadlines
- Develop and implement detailed production schedules to ensure timely product delivery
- Lead and supervise production workers and technicians to maintain high performance and teamwork
- Maintain quality control standards throughout the entire production process to ensure product excellence
- Identify, design, and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce operational costs
- Coordinate with procurement teams to secure timely availability of materials for uninterrupted production
- Monitor and analyze production metrics to detect trends and recommend improvements
- Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in the production environment
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to support production of new furniture products
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain workflow
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma holder
- Minimum 15 years proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in the furniture industry
- Strong understanding of production management processes and methodologies
- Proficient in production management software and tools
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to analyze and optimize production workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
