AWS Network Engineer

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced AWS Network Engineer to join our Digital Systems team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust network infrastructure both within AWS and across hybrid environments. You'll ensure reliable connectivity, secure network operations, and efficient cloud networking practices to support missioncritical services.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and support Palo Alto Firewalls and GlobalProtect VPN.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot AWS networking (VPC, security groups, route tables, etc.).
• Handle network incidents and service requests in line with ITIL processes.
• Work closely with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams to ensure secure connectivity.
• Maintain up-to-date network documentation, configurations, and change records.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Knowledge of AWS networking services (VPC, NAT Gateway, Load Balancers).
• Basic understanding of ITIL (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
• Strong collaboration, documentation, and communication skills.
• Cloud and/or networking certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are a plus.
