A leader in Shipping and Logistics company is currently expanding and looking for highly qualified candidates for the
Shipping Analyst (Associate) position based in Singapore.
Job Responsibilities
- Formulate and track shipping strategies to support overall business objectives
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress on specific areas of concern identified by management
- Design and implement metrics to proactively detect performance gaps and operational bottlenecks impacting yield
- Recommend and drive initiatives to improve profitability and reduce operational costs for better yield optimization
- Lead yield enhancement projects by working closely with internal stakeholders across multiple departments
- Improve overall asset utilization, including vessels and container equipment, by adopting a holistic optimization approach
- Conduct performance and trend analysis to support ongoing improvements in service offerings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Prior experience in the shipping industry, particularly in areas such as shipping operations, trade or network management, sales, or marketing
- Solid understanding of shipping market dynamics and operations
- Proven ability in data analysis, problem-solving, and resolving operational challenges
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams or work independently
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and capable of performing under pressure in a fast-moving environment
