Job Description

Focus:

This role is responsible for strategic thinking on the global and strategy on various brands across different markets. The Planning Director will partner with Business Directors on major strategy projects for their brands.

Key Responsibilities:

. Works to stimulate the constructive debate and discussion needed for the development of great ideas that are born out of our hyper bundled offering.

. Leads the integrated insights and strategic planning group in a way consistent with the agency's goal of bringing a strong analytical foundation to uncover fresh and innovative insights and business opportunities and inspiring creative ideas.

. Actively supports new business where required.

. Collaborates with senior clients and gives them deeper insights into the dynamics of their business through the development of disciplined and thorough sales, marketing and consumer research.

. Influences innovation and is receptive to new ideas and willing to challenge the status quo by brining ideas to fruition.

. Understand and influences the engagement strategy. Leads the conversation about the ever-changing digital landscape, including social media and influences the idea stretch process.

. Ensures strong collaborative relationships within the groups an externally with key agency and client partners to consistently elevate the quality of thinking ad ideas applied to the client business.

. Orchestrate all brand planning, strategic planning and analytical activity on the brand/brands. Identify opportunities.

. Has a good working knowledge of the market and provides a broad perspective on the critical issues facing the client/brand.

. Generates new insights into the market, brand and consumer which add value and direction to the business.

. Challenges the thinking on the account both internally and with the client.

. Drives the effectiveness agenda.

. A strong communicator of brand and consumer thinking stimulating the debate for great ideas.

. Extrapolates ideas into sound creative briefs, briefings and development.

Skills & Experience:

Displays an excellent understanding of FMCG brands.

Strong analytical capabilities.

Proven leadership skills and abilities.

Ability to think creatively and evidence of success in developing brands and delivering them to market.

Direct experience of working with various markets, with a deep understanding of the Asia region.

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
