Associate Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Engineer to support Final Test (FT) and System Level Test (SLT) operations in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Advantest V93000 and/or Teradyne test platforms and a strong background in yield analysis, production support, and test optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain FT and SLT operations in high-volume production environments.
• Debug and resolve manufacturing yield issues related to hardware, software, and test programs.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and yield.
• Analyze yield data and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Optimize test solutions and contribute to value engineering activities.
• Operate and support Advantest V93000/Teradyne test platforms.
• Work with Hontech and Chroma handlers during production testing.
• Support Maverick hold lot investigations and disposition activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, product engineering, and quality teams.
• Drive process improvements to enhance test efficiency, reliability, and throughput.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in FT and SLT volume production test environments.
• Strong experience with System Level Testing (SLT) and Final Testing (FT).
• Hands-on experience with Advantest V93000 and/or Teradyne tester platforms.
• Experience operating Hontech and Chroma handlers.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve yield-related issues.
• Experience in yield data analytics and manufacturing test optimization.
• Good understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and production test processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with OSAT companies such as ASE, JCET, or UTAC.
• Experience supporting high-end compute or networking products.
• Exposure to value engineering and test cost optimization initiatives.
• Knowledge of Maverick hold lot disposition processes.
