Responsibilities
- Perform 12-hour shift duties to support silicon wafer production operations, ensuring machine process integrity. Assist engineers in qualifying and fine-tuning production processes. Troubleshoot process-related issues to minimize production downtime. Monitor and enhance qualified processes using statistical tools such as SPC. Coordinate with specialists to ensure efficiency in operations and adherence to SOPs. Assist in implementing process improvement projects and participate in quality improvement teams (QIT) to boost productivity and output quality. Collaborate with quality assurance on internal audits. Maintain a clean production area, uphold safety practices, and ensure the secure handling of tools and equipment.
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Microelectronics, or a related engineering discipline. Minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication or high-volume electronics manufacturing. Hands-on experience in supporting production processes, including monitoring, troubleshooting, qualification, and sustaining engineering tasks. Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes such as lithography, etch, diffusion, deposition, CMP, metrology, implant, or similar modules is advantageous. Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and basic statistical analysis for process capability, yield, and stability monitoring.
