Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Assistant Vice President, Procurement to lead and elevate our procurement function. This role is responsible for shaping procurement strategy, strengthening governance, and driving value across the supply chain in support of organisational goals.
You will play a key role in enhancing operational effectiveness, fostering strong supplier partnerships, and ensuring a disciplined, compliant procurement environment. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will provide leadership across end-to-end procurement activities while championing continuous improvement and best-in-class practices to deliver sustainable cost, quality, and supply outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and deploy Procurement strategic direction and strategic focus areas.
- Establish KPIs to achieve business objectives for assured supply, quality & cost effectiveness.
- Develop and ensures that all Procurement related policies, process and procedures are adhered to and compliance to applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide the necessary guidance & supports for all purchasing related activities i.e. vendor pre-qualification, sourcing, tender, contract management, supplier and supply chain management.
- Develop, implement and execute best practices for Procurement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field; professional certifications (e.g. CIPS, CPSM).
- 15+ years of leadership role in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within integrated resort or hospitality environments.
- Proven track record in developing and executing procurement strategies, including category management and strategic sourcing, to deliver cost optimisation, quality assurance, and supply continuity.
- Strong experience in end-to-end procurement operations, including tender management (RFP/RFQ), contract negotiation, and supplier lifecycle management across diverse spend categories.
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and influence senior stakeholders across multiple business units, while managing complex vendor ecosystems and strategic partnerships.
- Sound knowledge of procurement governance, contract law, and regulatory compliance in Singapore, with experience leveraging digital procurement tools (e.g. SAP, Ariba) to drive efficiency and transparency.
