Job Description

At Motorist, we're building more than just a company we're building a team that grows together. As we continue to scale our business across Singapore and the region, we're looking for a hands-on and people-oriented HR Assistant Manager to join our team.

This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys both strategic HR work and day-to-day operations, and who wants to make a real impact in a fast-paced SME environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support and drive end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and offboarding
  • Partner closely with management on HR initiatives, policies, and workforce planning
  • Handle employee lifecycle matters such as performance management, confirmations, promotions, and exits
  • Advise line managers on HR best practices and employee issues
  • Ensure compliance with MOM regulations and employment laws
  • Support payroll, HR administration, and HR system improvements
  • Participate in HR projects that strengthen culture, engagement, and employer branding

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related discipline
  • At least 46 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in an SME environment
  • Good knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and HR practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working independently
  • Experience with regional HR exposure is a plus
