Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise commercial executives in managing major ship repair and upgrading projects.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender bids to secure repair and conversion work.
- Collaborate with the Ship Repair Manager and Project Supervisor to ensure accurate and timely invoicing, achieving targeted margins.
- Liaise with vessel owners representatives for project settlement and invoicing of completed works.
- Source, assess, and negotiate with subcontractors for specialized or complex jobs.
- Review, negotiate, and finalize subcontractor invoices to ensure fair settlement.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, with at least 6 years of relevant experience, including team management.
- Strong techno-commercial expertise in ship repair or marine construction.
- Proven experience in cost estimation and analysis for ship repair projects.
- Familiarity with subcontracting, procurement, bidding, and tender processes.
