Job Description
As the Assistant Manager of Business Development, you will support the business development including vessel acquisition, new route, brokering, new business & market research.
Job Resposibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies for new assets, including vessel acquisitions.
- Perform feasibility studies for new routes and service offerings.
- Follow up on new business prospects and opportunities.
- Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to support business development initiatives.
- Liaise with external parties, including vendors, partners, and advisors, for new business opportunities and vessel acquisitions.
- Actively collaborate with the team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Conduct market research and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned (AOB).
Job Requirement
- Bachelor degree in management, shipping, business or marketing related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within the shipping industry or related field
