JOB SUMMARY:
This role specialises in
Reefer &Liquid solutions across
food, chemicals and energy sectors. It will focus on developing new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
This role requires a strong hunter instinct, deep market awareness, and the ability to understand customer requirements in reefer & bulk liquid transportation. Technical training on specific solutions (reefer, flexi-tanks, ISO tanks, and other liquid transport methods) will be provided, but
prior knowledge of
freight forwarding and industry segments is
essential.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Drive new business development in food, chemical, and energy markets
- Expand trade lanes and service offerings with existing customers
- Manage inherited accounts while actively prospecting for new clients
- Understand customer requirements and match them with freight forwarding solutions
- Upsell value-added services such as door-to-door, heating, recycling and disposal capabilities
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities
- Achieve sales targets and report performance metrics regularly
YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma with 35 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain
- Strong hunter instinct with proven success in new customer acquisition
- Knowledge of food, chemical, and energy sectors, including compliance requirements
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to balance account management with new business growth
