Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic Assistant Director/Senior Manager, Total Rewards to lead the design, implementation, and governance of our total rewards strategy. This role will develop an integrated framework for compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness, equity, and alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will use market insights and data analytics to deliver innovative solutions that attract, retain, and engage top talent, while strengthening our employer brand and driving long-term growth. This is a full-time permanent position based fully on-site in our office at Tanjong Pagar.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and management of compensation programs to align with organizational goals, market trends, and industry standards, ensuring competitive and equitable pay structures
  • Manage the annual performance management cycle, including salary and bonus review exercises, to drive employee performance and engagement
  • Oversee the administration and reporting of long-term incentive programs and share awards to support retention and motivation of key talent
  • Collaborate with the Board and senior management to review and recommend executive remuneration packages that align with governance and business strategy
  • Partner with HR business units to design and implement incentive schemes tailored to diverse business needs, enhancing workforce motivation and productivity
  • Develop, communicate, document, and maintain comprehensive compensation and benefits policies and procedures to ensure clarity and consistency
  • Ensure total rewards policies comply with relevant laws and regulations, maintaining accuracy and mitigating risk
  • Conduct data analysis on compensation trends and performance management outcomes to provide actionable recommendations for market competitiveness
  • Lead or support compensation-related projects and initiatives to continuously improve total rewards effectiveness and alignment with business objectives
  • Adapt to ambiguity and fast-paced environments by independently prioritizing tasks and taking initiative to resolve challenges
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels to influence decision-making and foster collaboration

Required competencies and certifications

  • Deep knowledge of Employment-related Acts and regulatory compliance to ensure lawful and ethical compensation practices
  • Proven ability to balance organizational objectives with employee needs to design competitive compensation and benefits packages
  • Proficiency in SuccessFactors Performance Management and Compensation modules to manage related processes efficiently
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on Total Rewards experience in complex, multi-functional organizations, including performance management and compensation administration

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience in the hospitality industry, providing relevant sector insights and context for total rewards strategies
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence across diverse teams and leadership levels
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative in dynamic environments
