Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Architectural Drafter to join our team in the construction sector. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and supporting project design and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, develop, and revise detailed architectural and structural drawings using AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and SolidWorks
- Produce accurate shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction documentation
- Develop detailed door, window, and façade drawings based on project specifications
- Assist engineers and architects in structural design drafting and technical detailing
- Coordinate closely with project managers, consultants, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy and timely submission
- Review drawings for compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards
- Perform drawing revisions and updates based on site conditions and feedback
- Maintain proper documentation control and version tracking of all drawings
- Support project planning by preparing layout drawings and material take-offs where required
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and SolidWorks is mandatory
- Strong experience in shop drawings, as-built drawings, and structural drafting
- Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and technical detailing
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering and architectural drawings
- Strong coordination, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight project deadlines
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with BIM or other 3D modeling tools is an advantage
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and submission requirements
