Company Overview / Employee Value Proposition
Paper Plane Architects is a boutique studio based in Singapore. Founded in 2013, our international clientele includes Japan, China, Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia. Through the years, we have had the privilege to work on a wide range of projects of different scales and genres, ranging from hospitality, residential, institution, commercial, and parks.
As spatial thinkers, Paper Plane's design process is constantly re-shaped and morphs along ongoing discourse and macro trends. We are constantly in search of new ways of seeing and expressing living patterns and aspirations that weave specific cultural contexts into a new experimental aesthetic.
Job Summary
The Architectural Designer plays a key role in supporting the creative and technical development of projects within the studio, contributing to the exploration, articulation, and realisation of design ideas across a range of architectural typologies. Working collaboratively with the Project Architect and project team, the Architectural Designer participates in the studio's design-driven process-translating research, conceptual thinking, and spatial strategies into clear and thoughtful design outcomes.
This role requires curiosity, strong design sensibility, and the ability to engage critically with evolving cultural contexts and contemporary living patterns. The Architectural Designer contributes to the studio's pursuit of innovative and experimental aesthetics while supporting the effective coordination and delivery of projects from early design stages through implementation.
