Execution Executive

Job Purpose

Execute operations activities for both physical sugar trades for the COFCO INTL Sugar business. Includes the full execution of all aspects of contract management, shipping documentation, co-ordinating with numerous functions and relevant parties to ensure smooth execution of shipment and turnaround of documents.

Key Responsibilities

. Split contracts for ventures (planning of shipments and timely nominations to shippers / VARIOUS ORIGINS)

. Follow through on bulk/break bulk/containments/trucks including loading, discharging and payments

. Ensure accurate and timely invoicing from shippers / VARIOUS ORIGINS

. Timely claims settlements (eg. Laytime calculations/final price less provisional) with shippers / VARIOUS ORIGINS

Key Result Areas

. Timely execution of contracts with target zero claims

. Qualitative documentation and contract execution

. Ensuring contracts are within COFCO International's risk parameters and flagging them in case they are not

Education, Skills and Experience

. Degree qualified or Diploma with solid and proven work experience.

. Fluent in both written and spoken English

. Required to liaise and collaborate with colleagues based in China, fluency in business mandarin is essential

. At least 2-4 years of hands on experience in all aspects of Contract Execution and associated activities.

. Candidates with experience in sugar trading will have an added advantage or alternatively experience in other agri commodities is also preferred.

An understanding of all aspects of the work of a trading company.

In depth knowledge of:

. Contract Terms and Conditions and Governing Rules and Standards under Refined Sugar Assocations/Sugar Associations of London.

. Opening and negotiation of Letters of Credit.

. Letters Of Indemnity

. Charter Parties and container freight booking terms and conditions

. All forms of shipping documents

. Demurrage / Despatch calculations
