Responsibilities
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal business impact.
- Conduct problem management to identify root causes and track long-term fixes.
- Perform capacity and performance management.
- Collaborate with development teams for onboarding new applications and upgrades.
- Provide support for internal and external audits.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, working with business and operations teams to track KPIs, prioritize defect fixes, and support service stability.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of IT experience in Production Support, ITIL practices, Release Support, or related areas.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to establish credibility across technical teams.
- Technical expertise in Java/J2EE (Core Java, JDBC, EJB, Web Services), server-side technologies (SOAP/REST, XML/XSLT, MQ, Microservices, MuleSoft).
- Experience with middleware technologies such as IBM WebSphere MQ, JBoss, and MuleSoft.
- Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems with strong scripting ability.
- Hands-on experience with database technologies (Oracle, DB2, PL/SQL) and query optimization.
- Familiarity with event-driven and batch processes.
- Experience handling L1/L2/L3 production support responsibilities and using monitoring/scheduling tools.
