ACMV PROJECT ENGINEER

Roles & Responsibilities

. Assists and supports the Project Manager in handling and monitoring the progress of projects

. Responsible for the execution of contracts or installation of projects, as well as the coordination with contractors to ensure efficient and timely delivery of assignments

. Requires ability to use and apply extensive knowledge for a specific engineering field

. Daily operation of field work activities and organization of subcontractors

. Coordination of the implementation of a project, ensuring it is being built correctly

. Project schedules and forecasts

. Interpretation of drawing for tradesmen

. Review of engineering deliverables

. Regular project status reports

. Effective communications between engineering, technical, construction and project control groups

. Assistance to the project manager

. Attending to other Ad Hoc matters that are related to the project

Qualifications / Requirements

. ITE, Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline

. Experience in handling ACMV/HVAC/Cleanroom/M&E Projects a huge plus

. Candidates with Mechanical or Electrical Engineering expertise are also welcome to apply

. Must have experience working at construction site

. Self-motivated, highly resourceful and organized

. Positive Attitude

. Candidates with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) certification a plus

o Enhanced Construction Safety Orientation Course (CSOC)

o Building Construction Safety Supervisor Course (BCSS)

o Any other WSH related

. Candidates with own transport will be advantage

. Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate with different levels

. Good team player and able to function independently with minimum supervision

. Good analytical skills and able to solve problems will be an advantage
