Responsible for the accuracy, timeliness, effectiveness and efficiency of monthly journals, daily data entries and processes in the areas of Account Receivables, Account Payables, banking, month-end closing and quarterly GST reporting
Processing of cheque and online payments
System update of local Accounts Payable payment vouchers
Posting and review of vendor invoices
Reconciliation of vendor monthly Statement of Accounts & preparation of monthly payment cycles
Monthly and weekly Accounts Receivable follow up to customers & coordination with cross functional departments
Monthly reconciliation of Balance Sheet items
Assist in monthly and year end audits, including audits for certifications such as ISO and TISAX
Ensure proper filing of daily transactions
Perform other finance/accounting tasks as required.
Admin Activities
Office Management: Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient working environment for all staff
Inventory Management: Manage and maintain inventories of office supplies such as stationery, printer consumables (including maintenance), and other office materials
Purchasing & Procurement: Coordinate the purchasing of office equipment, including printers, furniture (chairs, tables, pedestals), and other office items or devices as needed
Asset Inventory Management: Track, issue, and maintain company devices such as laptops, desktops, phones, and other electronic equipment, ensuring proper management and maintenance (including asset tagging)
Health & Safety: Support the maintenance of a safe and compliant office environment, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards
Perform other administrative tasks as required
Requirement
Diploma in Business/Finance/Accounting or equivalent
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar capacity
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Highly organized and detail oriented
Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently while effectively prioritizing and managing time to meet deadlines.
