Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate, completed and timely financial information
Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, and depreciation
Maintaining project-related accounting records and cost summaries
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
Preparation of financial statements (balance sheet and income statement)
Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
Coordinating with bankers and government agencies when required
Coordinate and support internal and external audit process, ensuring timely resolution of audit matters
Support tax compliance matters, including corporate tax when required
Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned in support of the Finance and Project teams.
Requirements:
Diploma/ Degree / Professional Qualification in Accounting
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Prior experience in Construction industry will be advantageous
Prior experience with Synergix or other ERP system is an advantage
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills
