Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and client-focused Account Manager to drive long-term customer value, strengthen strategic partnerships, and support business growth across key accounts. This role requires a trusted advisor who understands client challenges, delivers impactful solutions, and contributes to organizational success through strong relationship management, strategic planning, and consistent account performance.
Responsibilities:
• Manage client portfolios to ensure needs are understood and solutions are implemented successfully.
• Assist in designing and executing account plans that support revenue growth and profitability.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients to strengthen relationships and ensure excellent service standards.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of account initiatives and project deliverables.
• Identify new revenue opportunities through upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
• Contribute to the preparation and delivery of client presentations and performance reports.
• Track industry developments and adjust account strategies to remain competitive.
• Provide guidance and support to junior members of the account management team.
Requirements:
• 4–5 years of experience in IT services sales
• Experience in public sector clients with strong networks and stakeholder connections
• Proven background in account management (farming)
• Skilled in strategic account or cluster planning and developing growth propositions
• Experience in budgeting, revenue forecasting, and financial planning
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications
• Demonstrated success in client leadership roles, consistently meeting sales and revenue targets while developing strong relationships
• Strong communication, leadership, and strategic planning abilities, with a track record of supporting business expansion
• Committed to continuous learning and staying up to date with industry and technology trends
Other Qualifications:
• Certified Account Executive (CAE), Certified Strategic Account Manager (CSAM) is a plus
