Are you a proactive and ambitious Key Account Manager whothrives on driving sales and building world-class retail partnerships

Join our dynamic team and play a key role instrengthening partnerships, delivering value, and accelerating business growthwithin the Specialist channel in Singapore! You will be the face of the brandfor our most dedicated toy retailers, ensuring our reach extends to morechildren through premium execution and strategic collaboration.

No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Core Responsibilities

Partner Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Toy Specialist key accounts in Singapore, fostering trust and long-term partnership.
  • Lead the Joint Business Planning (JBP) process, ensuring shared goals are met while fiercely protecting brand equity.
  • Lead the Customer Pulse as a critical metric of partnership health.

Business Development & P&L Ownership:

  • Lead the trade investment budget and P&L for your assigned accounts to drive sustainable, profitable value growth.
  • Handle customer sell-in and sell-thru with a curated portfolio strategy to ensure inventory health.
  • Lead annual negotiations, defining yearly trade terms and performance scorecards.

Strategic Planning & Insights:

  • Develop and implement strategic channel plans that align growth objectives with resource allocation.
  • Provide a fact-based storyline in weekly and monthly sales huddles, reviewing customer performance against market trends.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape to identify risks and proactively address them with actionable solutions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution:

  • Retail Excellence: Partner with internal teams to ensure best-in-class in-store execution, including visual merchandising, planograms, and brand communication.
  • Operations: Drive forecasting accuracy and collaborate with Operations to ensure smooth, timely delivery and resolve supply chain challenges.
  • Marketing: Align with regional and local marketing to implement high-impact campaigns tailored to the specialist shopper.

Primary Goals

  • Strategic Growth: Achieve future growth expectations through long-term planning and portfolio diversification.
  • Inventory Integrity: Maintain healthy in-stock rates through detailed 12-month rolling forecasts.
  • Execution Leadership: Secure world-class implementation of Sales and Marketing plans at the store level.

This role focuses on driving growth and retail excellenceacross key toy specialist and general trade channels in Singapore. TRU SG(Toys'R'Us Singapore), our main toy specialist partner, contributes 14% of thebusiness and is a key driver for kids recruitment, requiring strong KAMownership to ensure high standards of in-store execution and rigor.

Alongside this, 14 General Trade and Monobrand accountscontribute an additional 9%, requiring strong relationship management andconsistent engagement to unlock growth.

Together contributing 23% of the Singapore business, thisrole plays a critical part in delivering executional excellence, strengtheningpartnerships, and enhancing overall brand presence in the market.

Do You Have What It Takes

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in channel and account management, preferably within FMCG, Branded Retail, or the Toy industry in SG.
  • Retail Mastery: A solid understanding of retail operations, merchandising standards, and the consumer journey within physical retail environments.
  • Analytical Approach: Proven ability to run P&L, track trade spend, and translate data into structured business reviews.
  • Communication: Clear, structured communicator comfortable presenting insights and strategies to both partners and senior management.
  • Autonomy: A proactive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently while navigating a complex regional organization.
  • Adaptability: Change-readiness with a growth mentality, seeing market shifts as opportunities for innovation.
