As an Account Executive, you will manage a comprehensive range of account functions, ensuring smooth operations, timely payments, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Work From Home)
- Full-Time Permanent Role - 5-Day Work Week, 44 Hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee full spectrum of accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with external accounting firms to ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Review and validate financial statements and reports for accuracy, compliance, and alignment with accounting standards.
- Manage implementation and optimisation of accounting systems (e.g., Xero), including documentation of standardised workflows and process improvements.
- Ensure strong internal controls, compliance with group accounting policies, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Support external audits by preparing required documentation and coordinating with auditors.
- Oversee multi-entity financial reporting, intercompany transactions, and cross-departmental coordination to ensure accurate information flow.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve financial discrepancies and manage reporting needs.
- Provide regular financial updates and analysis to management, supporting business decision-making and strategic planning.
Key Requirement:
- Minimum diploma in Accounting or Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality or F&B sector (highly preferred).
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Xero) and MS Office applications
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in managing financial and inventory records.
