Singapore reported 2% annual decline in online hiring activity for January 2017, according to the Monster Employment Index (MEI)
The IT, Telecom/ISP and BPO/ITES and Hospitality sectors both saw the steepest growth in online hiring activity at 11% year-on-year, while the Retail/Trade and Logistics sector reported the steepest decline at -7% year-on-year
Professionals in Software, Hardware, Telecom jobs are in the greatest demand at 21% year-on-year, while Finance & Accounts roles have registered the sharpest annual decline at -8%
