Roles and responsibilities include:
- Meaningfully engage and interact with at-risk and/or high needs youths
- Develop programme(s) aligned to indicated objectives, where relevant
- Conduct games and activities to promote cohesion, social interaction, values-based and experiential learning
- Plan and conduct enrichment and skill-based workshops
- Provide mentoring, support and guidance, intervention to the youths where necessary
- Submit relevant reports on a timely basis
- Undergo monthly training and supervision to improve and develop in their work
Requirements and criteria:
- Minimum Diploma in social service related fields (i.e. Psychology, Social Work)
- Prior experience in youth work related roles preferred
- Instructor registered with MOE (if unregistered, you may apply at MOE's website)
- Able to commit 6 - 12 hours a week (Weekday afternoons, 2pm to 5pm)
Shortlisted applicants will have to undergo an orientation and and training sessions before deployment.
