WSH OFFICER

Chenfeng Clean System Engineering Company is Chinese-based company and is dedicated to conducting cleanroom engineering projects in Singapore. In order to promote outstanding operations and support sustained business growth, we are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic workplace safety and health officer to join our family.

Job Responsibilities:

. Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and requirements in the execution of the construction activities

. Work with site supervisors, subcontractors, clients, and main contractors on safety

. Lead the contractors in the implementation of Company's safety systems to promote the safe conduct of the works.

. Liaise closely with staff / government regulatory authorities and clients on all EHS matters

. Assist the Project Manager in safety enforcement and the achievement of WSH targets and objectives

. Conduct periodic safety inspection of workplaces and create/maintain Risk Assessments records to ensure continued adequacy and effectiveness

. Carry out incident investigations and propose corrective actions to be implemented

. Inspect and rectify any unsafe practices and conditions at the workplace

. Maintain and update safety related documentation and records

. Conduct daily toolbox meetings at sites and handle PTW applications

. Participate in preparation for audit and follow up on the actions needed from the audit findings

. Assist in the maintenance of Chenfeng's Safety Management System to ISO 45001 /14001/ 9001 standard and bizSAFE certification

. Take on any safety related and other ad-hoc duties as assigned

. Other duties as stipulated in the WSH Act

Job Requirements:

. Diploma/Degree in environmental and occupational health and safety fields/ advanced safety related professional certifications/ working experience

. Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in construction industry

. Possess valid registration with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)

. Able to work independently and as part of a team
