We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Officer to oversee and implement safety protocols at our construction site in Singapore. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with Singapore's WSH regulations, promoting a safe working environment, and preventing workplace accidents.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act and other relevant regulations
- Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific safety plans and risk assessments. Conduct regular safety inspections, and incident investigations.
- Organize and conduct safety training and toolbox meetings for workers
- Maintain accurate records of safety activities, incidents, and corrective actions
- Advise site management on safety improvements and hazard control measures
- Promote a strong safety culture across all levels of the workforce
Job Requirement
- Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Singapore
- Diploma of Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in construction safety
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's WSH regulations, codes of practice, and risk management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple safety priorities
- Familiarity with incident reporting systems and safety documentation
- Certification in risk assessment and safety auditing is an advantage Job Requirements.
