Key Responsibilities
- Provide advice and consultation to stakeholders as well as the management to ensure that works carried out are in full compliance with the regulations, standards and practices
- Conduct and coordinate regular on-site inspection to audit physical conditions, safe work practices and system compliance
- Develop strategies to capitalize on trend/progress improvements based on Safety Health & Environmental data
- Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace. Undertake surveys to identify and evaluate occupational safety health and environmental conditions
- Prepare safety orientation, safety training and job site procedures. Direct or assist in development of specialized education and training materials. Conduct safety health and environmental training to increase the awareness of personnel
- Conduct accident/incident investigation and work with management to prepare comprehensive recommendations for corrective active to eliminate or minimize future occurrences
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports
- Organize and conduct daily toolbox talk to workforce
- Maintain proper upkeep of HSE documents
- Partake in all internal and external system audit
- Initiate and organize regular safety health and environmental meeting with stakeholders
- Plan and organize safety enhancement activities, such as safety days, rewarding program & safety campaign
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by management
- Experience working with SP Group
Requirements
- WSQ Advance cetificate in WSH or related
- Minimum 2 years of WSH experience in cabling or construction safety roles
- Strong knowledge of WSH regulations, risk assessments, and safety best practices.
- Passionate about learning, growth, and improving safety culture.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
