He/she is to assist the project manager to identify any unsafe condition or unsafe practice carried out in the project. They are to recommend to the project manager to implement and to assist to implement such reasonably practicable measures to remedy the unsafe condition or unsafe work practice.
- - Ensure that EHS inspections, toolbox meetings, briefings are carried out duly.
- - Implement EHS programme(s) on sites.
- - Advise site staff on EHS matters.
- - Daily physical inspections of work environment, work tools, etc.
- - Ensure relevant legislations are complied with.
- - Implement and enforce any new EHS measures pass down by management.
- - Promote safe conduct at the site.
- - Rectify unsafe conditions and correct unsafe practices.
- - Check that all workers comply with the Company's EHS procedures and practices.
- - Ensure rectification works are implemented and maintained.
- - Train workers to work safely.
- - Responsible for safe workplace, housekeeping, lighting, and ventilation.
- - Enforce the usage of personal protection equipment.
