Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of Workplace Safety & Health and Environment Management Systems at work sites.
Conduct regular WSH inspections and follow-up actions to ensure safety compliance
Ensure all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
Ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.
Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipments and operations.
Ensure all accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented.
Coordinate the development of health & safety policies, systems of work and procedures.
Inspect project sites to ensure safety measure are being carried out at all times.
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience as a Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Officer, preferably with LTA or building & construction projects.
Certifications in Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM.
Possess good communication skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Must be responsible, organized, and self-initiated.
