Job Description

The Cleaning Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily cleaning operations, managing cleaning staff, ensuring service quality, and maintaining compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. This role ensures efficient manpower deployment, customer satisfaction, and smooth operational workflow.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Operations Management

    • Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily cleaning operations across all sites

    • Ensure cleaning tasks are completed according to agreed job scopes and schedules

    • Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks

  2. Manpower & Staff Management

    • Recruit, train, deploy, and supervise cleaning staff

    • Prepare duty rosters, manpower planning, and attendance monitoring

    • Handle staff performance issues, discipline, and work improvement

  3. Client & Service Management

    • Liaise with clients on service requirements, feedback, and issue resolution

    • Attend site meetings and conduct joint inspections when required

    • Ensure high customer satisfaction and service consistency

  4. Compliance & Safety

    • Ensure compliance with NEA, MOM, WSH, and company policies

    • Enforce proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and PPE

    • Conduct safety briefings and toolbox meetings

  5. Inventory & Equipment

    • Manage cleaning equipment, tools, and chemical supplies

    • Monitor stock levels and arrange replenishment when needed

    • Ensure equipment is well-maintained and used correctly

  6. Reporting & Administration

    • Prepare service reports, incident reports, and manpower records

    • Support management with operational planning and improvements

    • Handle ad-hoc operational matters assigned by management

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or equivalent (Facilities Management, Operations, or related field preferred)

  • At least 2-5 years of relevant experience in cleaning operations or facilities management

  • Experience managing cleaners and supervisors is essential

  • Familiar with NEA, MOM, WSH regulations and cleaning standards

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Able to work independently and handle multiple sites

  • Physically fit and willing to perform site visits when required

  • Basic computer skills (WhatsApp, email, reports, Excel preferred)
