This is an exciting, fast-paced role suited for a commercially driven and service-oriented individual with strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. As Sales Manager, you will serve as the key point of contact for both our private and trade customers, ensuring alignment between commercial objectives and operational execution.
You will be responsible for driving sales performance while maintaining a high standard of customer experience. This includes overseeing sales processes, supporting key client relationships, and ensuring the smooth execution of orders and fulfilment in collaboration with internal teams.
Reporting directly to senior management, you will play a critical role in leading the sales function, developing client strategies, and contributing to the overall growth of the business.
Strong sales performance is rewarded through a competitive, performance-based commission structure.
Salary is based on Experience.
Job Description:
i. Provide efficient and positively memorable sales service to The Company's customers.
ii. Work with CEO and General Management to formulate merchandising strategy and planning whilst adhering to The Company's objectives.
iii. Work alongside the office team to ensure that commercial, and product ranges are bought and managed in order to maximize profit & sales.
iv. Increase The Company private & trade accounts and customer base.
v. Train and develop all team members to maximize their potential and motivate them with strong desires.
vi. Maintain awareness of competitor price points and a good understanding of the brand and product positioning, drafting pricing proposals for review.
vii. Monitor inventory, delivery, and reordering situations to ensure appropriate levels of stock are maintained across all designated categories, and responsible for merchandise allocations to the stores and coordination with stores and the Logistics team for stock replenishment issues, inventory codes and naming conventions.
viii. Event organizing and coordination.
ix. Provide wine recommendations to customers.
x. Schedule tastings of incoming wines from shipment clearance.
xi. Attend Weekly Meetings to devise and implement strategy to increase profitability.
xii. Provide customer support, recommendations, and troubleshooting as needed.
xiii. Fulfil The Company's mission to purvey quality artisanal fine wines to increasing audience in the markets that it serves (Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia) which may include, but not be limited to: promotion, marketing and education activities pertaining the Company's products and services to The Company's accounts and prospective customers.
xiv. Be a positive ambassador for Winemakers and Wines The Company represents.
xv. Provide other related office duties that are in relations to customer service as needed.
