Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Electrical/Instrumentation Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial and contractual aspects of our projects.
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for potential works
Perform quantity take-offs from drawings (e.g., cable containment, lighting, small power, earthing, lightning protection, ELV systems, etc.).
Evaluate and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations.
Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.
Monitor project costs and ensure works are carried out within the approved budget.
Handle cost control, contract administration, and change management.
Assess and certify subcontractor claims and process payments.
Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors on commercial matters.
Prepare monthly cost reports and provide updates to management.
Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and company procedures.
Support the Project Team on contractual, commercial, and procurement matters.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Electrical/ Instrument Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent
Strong technical background with sound knowledge of pre and post-contract duties
Proficient in MS Office (e.g Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
Possess good writing, communication and interpersonal skills
Drafting knowledge using AutoCAD is an added advantage
