Job Summary
Lead marketing and sales operations by developing strategies, managing distribution channels, and analyzing market trends to drive business growth. Oversee staff, budgets, and compliance to ensure efficient wholesale and retail operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to identify business opportunities and strengthen customer relationships
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment
- Deliver comprehensive brand and product training across the distribution network to enhance team knowledge
- Plan, direct, and evaluate wholesale and retail sales operations to optimize performance and market coverage
- Analyze market research and trends to assess consumer demand, sales potential, and competitor impact
- Manage distribution channels to achieve sales objectives and maximize market reach
- Prepare detailed reports including monthly performance, quarterly, and yearly business reviews to inform decision-making
- Manage staff by assigning duties, planning budgets, authorizing expenditures, and resolving customer complaints
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned to support company goals
Required competencies and certifications
- Possess a minimum Bachelor Degree in Business or related discipline
- Hold a valid 2A/2B/Class 3 driving license
- Demonstrate minimum 4 years of experience in B2B sales and wholesale brand consumer products
- Ability to control storage room temperatures for fruits and vegetables to ensure product quality
- Capability to work longer hours, including weekends and public holidays, with prolonged standing and rotating night shifts
- Willingness to perform fieldwork and delivery duties when required
- Ability to withstand considerable exterior noise and extreme temperature fluctuations in warehouse environments
- Good knowledge of product distribution through various wholesale and retail channels
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in wholesale and retail packaging operations
- Possession of own transport to facilitate travel requirements
