Western Cuisine Cook (Food manufacture)

Location: JTC Bedok Food City, 1550 Bedok North Avenue 4, Singapore 489950

Working Days: Monday-Saturday

Working Hours: 8am-5pm

Salary: $2,500 - $3,000 + PB

Job Description

Prepare and cook dishes according to standard recipes, specifications and quality requirements.
Support daily food production activities, ensuring consistent taste, quality, portioning and presentation.
Maintain food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness and workplace safety in compliance with SFA requirements.
Follow standard recipes, production processes and SOPs to ensure product consistency.
Monitor production quantities, stock rotation and ingredient usage to minimise food wastage.
Assist with inventory control, raw material preparation and stock management.
Conduct quality checks on ingredients and finished food products.
Guide and train junior kitchen and production staff on food preparation, production procedures and hygiene practices.
Ensure compliance with company SOPs, food safety standards and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
Assist with new product development, recipe testing and production improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

2-5 years of relevant experience as a Western Chef, Food Production Chef or in a similar role.
Culinary diploma/certificate or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience in food production, batch cooking or food processing will be an advantage.
Familiarity with GMP, HACCP and food manufacturing SOPs will be an advantage.
