We are seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Team Lead to lead daily warehouse operations and support a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will coordinate workflows, oversee staff, ensure safety compliance, manage documentation and reports, and assist with order fulfillment as needed. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with management.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Coordinate and assign daily tasks and workflows within the warehouse team.
- Print, prepare, and verify invoices and shipping documentation.
- Train, coach, and mentor warehouse staff on operational procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Monitor the work environment for potential hazards and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe workplace.
- Report performance metrics, operational issues, and challenges to warehouse or upper management.
- Check and follow up on back orders to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Generate reports from company systems and ensure accurate updates within the Detrack fleet management platform.
- Assist with picking, packing, and loading activities when required.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through proper handling, storage, and basic stock checks.
- Support process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree
- Process Class 3 driving license
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team player with a flexible and positive attitude
- Good communication and time management skills
- Previous experience in a similar food service role preferred
