Job Summary
The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods while ensuring inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment. This role follows standard operating procedures, maintains quality and stock control standards, and supports efficient warehouse processes.
In this role, you will maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, conduct stock checks, process customer returns, operate forklifts and reach trucks, and ensure accurate system updates and shipment processing. You will also perform other duties assigned by your immediate Supervisor, or Management to support smooth warehouse operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform and coordinate warehouse processes, from inbounds to outbounds, on a timely basis
Ensure work areas are clean, neat and organised to be able to facilitate order fulfillment and restocking activities
Follow standard operating procedures to ensure efficient good flow and accurate inventory count
Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits and stock take activities
Responsible for accurate and efficient receipt, storage, retrieval, packing, deliver and maintenance of all goods and consumables within warehouse operations
Ensure materials are properly tagged, in correct location & store orderly, maximising space but with a view of easy picking and stock checking
Conduct periodic stock checks with target of no discrepancies
On-time lodgment and delivery of shipment as per service agreement with customer
Manage customers returns, issue/delivery through RMA procedures
Accountable for accurate data entry into correct system within specified cut off time
Possess forklift license, able to operate forklift and reach truck for warehouse operation
Other duties as assigned by the immediate superior/management
Job Requirement:
Diploma or ITE in Warehouse/Logistics/Supply Chain Management
Proven experience in warehouse planning, stock count and inventory management
Forklift Certified, able to operate forklift and reach truck for warehouse operation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead
Working hours: Monday-Friday & alternate Saturdays (8.45am - 5.45pm).
Able to perform overtime work when required, in accordance with MOM regulations.
