Job Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, leading the operations team to achieve performance targets, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining compliance with Workplace Safety and Health Environment (WSH) standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize daily warehouse operations to ensure operational efficiency and inventory accuracy
- Collaborate with internal departments to coordinate timely fulfillment of customer orders and maintain stock accuracy
- Lead, supervise, train, and motivate a team of store assistants and storekeepers to achieve departmental goals and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular audits and control measures
- Ensure proper storage of goods and uphold high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness to protect product integrity
- Enforce compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) rules and regulations across all warehouse activities
- Manage staff matters including resolving disputes, administering discipline, and addressing performance issues to maintain a productive work environment
- Plan and allocate manpower resources effectively to meet operational demands and scheduling requirements
Required competencies and certifications
- Compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards as part of warehouse operations management
- Has experienced in managing a team of 10 staff and warehouse.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proficient knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or related warehouse applications to support operational control
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills to drive team performance and engagement
- Strong planning and organizational skills to coordinate resources and workflows efficiently
- Effective manpower and resource management capabilities to optimize operational productivity
