Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to join our operations team. This is a hands-on supervisory role where you'll lead warehouse operations, manage a team, and ensure safe, efficient movement and storage of goods, especially in a cold-chain environment.
You will play a key part in overseeing daily logistics and inventory activities to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations and environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations: receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching.
- Lead and supervise a team of warehouse assistants and forklift drivers.
- Operate forklifts safely and ensure proper equipment handling.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with food safety and workplace safety standards (e.g. HACCP, WSQ).
- Monitor team performance and assist in staff training and scheduling.
- Report stock discrepancies, damages, and recommend process improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the food or FMCG industry.
- Valid Forklift Operator License (Singapore).
- Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
- Familiarity with basic computer systems and inventory software.
- Comfortable to work on a 5.5-day rotating shift schedule.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and warehouse hygiene standards.
- Experience working in HACCP or SFA-compliant environments.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
