Job Description:
- Manage day-to-day operations in the warehouse provide leadership to a team of operations and administrative staff in the area of inbound, outbound, and inventory management (cold chain management)
- Manage the planning process to ensure all daily operation activities are executed and meet according to the customer service levels
- Develop plans to enhance the organization's competitiveness
- Account for overall cost analysis and ensure that the department remains competitive
- Effectively manage P&L and budget
- Control, develop and maintain all internal/external documentation for procedures and work instructions
- To be the operations lead for all negotiations, improvement initiatives, price reviews, contract revisions and all other customers/vendors communications.
- Support ad-hoc quality improvement/cost-effectiveness/potential business gain or feasibility study projects and initiate new process changes
- Ensure the accuracy of all vendor invoicing, customer billing and warehouse inventories
- Ensure a safe, clean and healthy working environment in compliance with statutory requirements and company policies
- Undertake any other duties and handle ad-hoc projects as assigned from time to time.
Requirement:
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or similar discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse supervisory experience in cold chain management.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on operational experience in the cold storage environment.
- Knowledge of 3PL, and WMS systems.
- Punctual, good working attitude, physically fit, responsible, good team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess a Singapore Forklift License preferred.
- Be able to work in the cold room, capability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift heavy items.
