This role ensures efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods (including specialized parts where applicable), while maintaining high standards in safety, accuracy, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
1.Warehouse & Operations Management
- Oversee and supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, and distribution.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of goods to prevent damage or misplacement.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock integrity.
2.Inventory Control
- Conduct regular cycle counts and stock audits.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
3.Logistics & Coordination
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Prepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Track shipments and resolve logistics or delivery-related issues.
4.Process Improvement & Performance
- Continuously review and improve operational workflows, SOPs, and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor KPIs, productivity, and through put, implementing improvements where necessary.
5. Team Leadership
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff across functions (inventory, picking, packing, admin, and distribution).
- Provide training, guidance, and performance management to team members.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.
6. Safety, Quality &Compliance
- Implement, review, and enforce Workplace Safety& Health (WSH) policies and Safe Work Procedures (SWP).
- Conduct and update Risk Assessments (RA) as required.
7. Other Duties
- Resolve daily operational issues with both short-term fixes and long-term solutions.
- Undertake additional assignments as delegated by the Operations Manager.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience inwarehouse/logistics operations
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, andcommunication skills.
- Positive attitude, proactive, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on approach when required and ability to lead a small team.
