Warehouse Operations Executive (1 year contract)

This role is to assist the Senior Manager, Warehouse in the planning and coordination of warehouse activities (receiving, storage, order processing, and delivery of orders), supervision and training of assigned team members.

Key Responsibilities

Liaise with channels within business to carry out smooth distribution operations according to work procedures.

Plan, organize and supervise the operations in the warehouse including the receipt, storage and processing orders, ensuring all the orders are fulfilled.

Lead the hamper operation to ensure the flow runs smoothly during Chinese New Year period

Regular replenishment of stocks to always ensure stocks availability for orders.

Assist in the development and modification of warehousing policies and procedures to assure adequate internal control and proper handling.

Bring workload and scheduling problems to the attention of the Senior Manager, Warehouse.

Recommend and assist in the implementation of goals and objectives.

Prepare and maintain a variety of records and reports related to warehouse activities, personnel and equipment.

Produce regular reports and statistics of operation on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Provide information on stock and inventory control on a weekly basis.

Investigate and resolve complaints regarding discrepancies.

Participate in cycle count and annual stock take.

Strong leadership and be able to motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.

Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.

Implement and monitor safety procedures in warehouse operations.

Ensure team members carry out their daily work duties accordingly.

Perform related duties as assigned.

Education

Diploma or GCE O Level or relevant technical qualifications

Skills, Knowledge and Relevant Experience

Minimum 2 to 4 years of supervisory experience in warehouse operations.

Has good knowledge & experience in driving/operate reach truck will be an advantage.

Able to use mechanical handling equipment efficiently, manage the usage and training of all equipment.

Possess forklift license is an advantage.

Must have strong leadership qualities; to monitor, lead & train a team to carry out their daily work duties accordingly.

Positive mindset to continuously strive& achieve high performance standard for the warehouse.

Attention to detail.

Able to communicate clearly & give detailed work instructions to team members.

Hardworking & committed in any given tasks.

Able to go the extra mile to carry out superior instructions.

Knowledge and experience on Ecom fulfillment operation.

Willing to work Mon - Fri and full day on alternate Saturdays.

Those with more years of experience may be considered for Senior Executive.
