Responsibilities:
- Prioritize safety above all and ensure compliance with key policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement rolling 1, 3, and 5-year plans for warehousing needs, equipment, systems, and personnel.
- Manage relationships with direct and indirect warehouses and partners, establishing and auditing compliance with standardized KPIs and metrics.
- Provide support to expand the inbound freight portfolio under management.
- Collaborate on the creation and execution of shared standards across multiple locations for warehousing and logistics.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory transportation requirements for hazardous goods, conducting audits and updates as necessary.
- Analyze and justify new technology implementations to advance operational efficiency.
- Champion Lean principles, guiding the Warehouse and Logistics team in problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Enhance current material flow and handling processes to drive efficiency.
- Maintain oversight of the export tariff program.
- Serve as the primary source for data analysis and reporting for the Warehouse and Logistics team.
- Ensure adherence to GFSI (Food Safety) and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards across all operations.
- Foster strong collaboration with internal teams including Production, Finished Goods Planning, Procurement, Sales, and Customer Experience.
- Implement inventory management practices to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and minimize loss.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Warehouse and Logistics supervisory position.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with light industrial equipment, particularly forklifts.
- Background in maintenance and project coordination is preferred.
