Warehouse assistant

Job Summary

Warehouse Assistant manages the daily flow of goods in a logistics environment by receiving shipments, fulfilling and packing orders, tracking inventory, and operating equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments accurately and verify contents to ensure correct inventory intake
• Fulfill and pack orders efficiently to meet delivery schedules and customer requirements
• Track and update inventory records to maintain accurate stock levels
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts following safety protocols to move goods within the warehouse
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment to comply with workplace safety standards

Required competencies and certifications

• Valid forklift operating certification to safely handle warehouse equipment
• Experience working in a warehouse environment to perform core logistics tasks effectively
