A Warehouse Admin Assistant manages inventory records, processes shipping documentation, and coordinates logistics in a warehouse.
Key duties include data entry in WMS/Excel, preparing pick lists and delivery notes, answering customer enquiries, and liaising with operations teams. They require strong communication and IT skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Entry & Reporting: Updating Inventory Management Systems, processing Goods Receiving Notes (GRN), and tracking inventory levels.
- Documentation Management: Preparing and processing invoices, delivery orders, and shipping documents.
- Coordination: Communicating with couriers, suppliers, and internal departments to manage inbound/outbound logistics.
- Customer Support: Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries regarding order status and stock availability.
- Inventory Control: Assisting with regular stock takes, cycle counts, and reconciling inventory discrepancies.
- Fulfilment Duties: Assisting with pick and pack services.
Job Requirements
- Education: Typically requires a High School diploma/O-Level or equivalent.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or administration is commonly required.
- Competencies: Strong attention to detail, good verbal and written communication, and organizational skills.
