Waiter / Waitress

Job Description

We are looking for friendly, energetic and service-oriented Waiters / Waitresses to join our Chinese restaurant team.

As part of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring that guests have a pleasant dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Explain menu items and make recommendations when required.
• Serve food and beverages according to restaurant standards.
• Clear and reset tables promptly.
• Ensure the dining area is clean, organised and presentable.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Handle customer enquiries and feedback professionally.
• Work closely with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in a Chinese restaurant or F&B environment will be an advantage.
• Candidates with experience in established Chinese restaurant brands are preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, positive and outgoing personality.
• Service-oriented and willing to interact with customers.
• Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good team player with a responsible attitude.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays where required.
• Candidates who require a valid work pass may also be considered, subject to eligibility.
