Job Description

he Technical Delivery Manager is accountable for the successful execution and delivery of banking and financial services projects. The role ensures projects meet scope, timeline, and budget requirements while complying with bank policies and regulatory standards. This includes leading multi-vendor teams, managing stakeholders, and ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution & Delivery

  • Lead technical delivery of projects to ensure they meet scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Drive discussions on data, design, and solutions with vendors, technology teams, and user groups.
  • Provide technical delivery status updates to the Project Manager.

Solution Design & Technical Governance

  • Collaborate with Solution and Enterprise Architects to deliver technical innovations.
  • Ensure solution designs comply with enterprise principles, security, and control standards.
  • Work with Test Managers to formulate system test plans aligned with project scope, change requests, and quality requirements.

Risk & Stakeholder Management

  • Identify and proactively manage risks and issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Manage relationships across business lines and external parties, including expectations, conflicts, and scope changes.
  • Organize and chair governance meetings, including preparation of materials and minutes.

Team & Execution

  • Lead multi-vendor teams to ensure collaborative delivery of solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong execution skills and ensure end-to-end closure of issues.
  • Work independently and effectively in ambiguous situations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. PMP certification preferred.
  • 8+ years of technical management experience in banking or financial services.
  • Proven experience in regional project implementation for large-scale, multi-interface applications.
  • Experience delivering projects across full SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with assertiveness in driving results.
  • Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills, coordinating multiple stakeholders in a diverse environment.
  • Self-starter with initiative and result-oriented mindset.
