The Relationship Manager is responsible for acquiring and managing SME accounts, achieving profitability targets, and providing comprehensive banking solutions. The role focuses on cultivating strong client relationships, understanding business needs, and cross-selling products and services to support clients financial and investment objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship & Business Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with SMEs, understanding their business objectives, challenges, and financial goals.
- Acquire new SME accounts and manage existing ones to meet profitability targets.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell banking products and services.
- Conduct regular client reviews to assess satisfaction and uncover additional service opportunities.
Collaboration & Advisory
- Work closely with product specialists, credit analysts, and operations to deliver holistic banking solutions.
- Prepare and present financial proposals, reports, and presentations to clients.
- Provide informed advice based on industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all client interactions and transactions comply with banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation for all client activities and recommendations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of credit and marketing experience managing local SME businesses.
- Proven track record in SME business development and achieving sales targets.
- Strong business acumen, interpersonal, and communication skills.
