VP Markets Compliance, Global Investment Bank

Our client is looking to hire VP Markets Compliance to report to the Head of Compliance SEA and be part of a small team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advisory on compliance issues for securities businesses in the region.
• Tracking relevant regulatory changes/updates, and Interpreting regulations and helping to implement appropriate solutions with the business.
• Implementation and maintenance of Policies and Procedures.
• Work closely with the surveillance team to advise on trade surveillance needs and assist in handling escalation events.

Experience and Qualifications Required

• Bachelor with 10 years of experience working in banks or securities exchanges or at regulators.
• Strong knowledge of MAS and SGX regulations, and good understanding of sales and trading products and practices.
